Betty Sackett and Richard Luckett completed an exhaustive re-write of ASTA By-Laws and Articles of Incorporation. On October 23, 2010 the ASTA Board of Director met and unamously approved the new By-Laws. The association is in the process of printing the new documents and the booklets will be available soon. Check the ASTA web site  for the latest information.

"Rookie of the Year" Delegate Award:

The Delegate will present the Rookie of the year award to the shooter with the highest composite average. To qualify for Rookie of the Year, a shooter must have joined the ATA for the first time in the 2011 target year and registered a minimum of 500 Singles, 500 Handicap and 300 Doubles.

The ASTA will also award the winner of the Rookie of the Year Award an ASTA Life Membership.

 A new trap, skeet range is in design by Arizona Fish and Game. As the design progresses and details are available they will be posted on this web site. The new range opening is anticipated in 2013.

Purpose of the Amature Trapshooting Association

DELEGATE RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications as set forth by ATA Rules and Regulations

• Delegate constitutes the Board of Directors of Amateur Trapshooting Association

• Having the responsibility of overseeing the operation of the Association

• Serve as Liaison Between the State Associations and ATA

• Attend Annual State, Zone, ATA Western Zone Tournaments and ATA Grand American Championship
